Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Aevum Conclave (the "Service"), operated by Aevum LLC, a Washington State limited liability company based in Sultan, WA ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Aevum Conclave routes your prompts through multiple third-party large language models (currently Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, and xAI Grok), facilitates correction rounds between them, and synthesizes a consolidated answer. The Service is a tool for assisting your decision-making — it is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any law or the rights of others
  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or harmful
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or wrap the Service in a competing product without our written consent
  • Submit material you do not have the right to submit, including infringing or confidential third-party content

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. AI-generated output

Output from the Service is produced by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or offensive. You are solely responsible for evaluating output before relying on or distributing it. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy of any output. Outputs may differ between users for the same prompt.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the prompts, files, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content as needed to deliver the Service — including transmitting it to the third-party model providers identified above. We do not sell Your Content. We do not use Your Content to train our own models.

6. Plans, billing & refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Quotas reset on the first of each calendar month (UTC). You may cancel at any time from your account; access remains active through the end of the current billing period and we do not pro-rate refunds for partial months. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

7. Free tier

The free tier is offered as-is and may be modified, throttled, or discontinued at any time. We may pause new free signups if API costs exceed our limits.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM AND (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against any claim, loss, or expense arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Snohomish County, Washington.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
